🌴 2-Week Family Itinerary in Tenerife – October 2024
Family of 5 – 2 adults and kids aged 9, 6, and 4
A perfect mix of sightseeing, nature, and family fun – this was our two-week family vacation in beautiful Tenerife. We traveled in October, enjoyed ideal weather, rented a car for flexibility, and stayed in three different hotels. Below is our full day-by-day breakdown.
✈️ Flight to Tenerife
We flew with El Al, with a connection in Madrid and continued with Iberia.
Tip: Make sure to leave a 3–5 hour layover window. We had delays both ways, and the timing worked out well.
☀️ General Tips
Weather: Cool mornings (until 9 AM) and evenings (~8 PM), but perfect during the day for outdoor activities. We wore light summer clothes throughout the trip.
Sea: Personally felt the water was a bit cold, but the rest of the family enjoyed it fully.
Car Rental: Rented with CICAR – great service and quick pickup/drop-off.
